How long do I have to wait after Laser Genesis before I get either filler or Dysport/Botox?

It is good to wait at least 30 minutes- 1hour after a laser genesis treatment to receive Botox injections. This allows time for the skin to cool down before an injection.

Hi, thank you for your question. Laser Genesis is a safe, non invasive laser treatment that helps minimize pore appearance, stimulate collagen, and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment has essentially no downtime, as it leaves the skin pink for about 20 minutes.  I would recommend receiving Laser Genesis before filler or Botox. You should wait at least 30 minutes after genesis treatment to receive any injectable. Please seek a Board Certified Dermatologist to determine if you are an ideal candidate for the treatment.

I advise all patients to wait 2 weeks before and after their Laser Genesis treatment to receive any injectable treatments, especially dermal fillers using Hyaluronic Acid. The heat used in the Laser Genesis treatment can potentially dissolve new filler when a patient does not wait the 2 weeks.
