Can floaters result from ptosis correction?

I has ptosis correction in my right eye 2 months ago and in the last week or so have developed a couple of floaters with some flashing. Could this be connected to the surgery? Thank you.

Floaters are a very common condition. When associated with flashing lights it can be a sign of retinal detachment (RD). You need to be seen by an ophthalmologist right away as RD is easier to treat and outcomes are better when treated quickly.It's hard to conceive of a way that the ptosis surgery would have any relation.
