Can I try Dysport after getting hives from Botox?

4 yrs ago I went back for 20 unit of Botox on my forehead 3 months after I had my very 1st treatment with Botox. Ist time the results were a dream, 2nd time I developed hives across my forehead then they moved down my body and my ears were burning for weeks. Same nurse, same dosage used only diff the second time I went for a jog 2 hrs after. I would like to know if I can try another brand? Has it happened before? Would love to try another brand, however my injector will not. What do I do?

Yes, you can try a different neuromodulator.  Dysport and Juveau are two others that are on the market to treat dynamic wrinkles.  I've included a video I hope you find helpful

Thank you for sharing your question.  Yes you can try one of the alternate wrinkle relaxers to try and minimize the same reaction from occurring.  Hope this helps.

Although extremely rare, there are cases of people having an allergic reaction to Botox. But those reasons and those patients I recommend using Xeomin. It is used exactly in the same amount and in the same areas as where one would use Botox. The only drawback may be that the product may last slightly less than Botox.
