V beam laser for stubborn PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) marks (photo)

I have mild acne, but my pimples always leave behind stubborn PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) marks. I'm currently in my 3rd month of Accutane, and I had my first V-Beam session 3 weeks ago, but I didn’t see any improvement. I had my second session just a day ago. My dermatologist said to get one session every 2 weeks, with a total of 5–6 sessions. My PIE marks are usually very stubborn and take more than 6 months to fade. Will V-Beam be effective? I didn’t see any improvement from the first session at all, and I’m really concerned because this is an expensive treatment.
