Answer: Removal of cherry angioma In my opinion, a pulsed dye laser is the best to remove cherry angioma. This is a very commonly treated condition and the pulsed dye laser works very well in my patients with cherry angiomas.

Answer: Preferred methods to remove cherry angiomas Pulsed dye laser (PDL) works much better than IPL. Another option is electrocautery, where a small electric tip is used to cauterize the cherry angioma, which is vascular. This is how we handled cherry angiomas prior to lasers and can be much less expensive than laser treatments. Best wishes, Mary Beth Mudd
