I have a bunch of cherry angiomas all over my body that I'd like removed. What is the best way to remove cherry angiomas: pulsed dye laser (PDL), Intense Pulsed Light (PDL), or something else?
Answer: Vbeam is a great option for cherry angiomas Vbeam laser is an excellent modality for patients who have rosacea, blushing of the skin, facial and body telangiectasia, spider veins, redness, post surgical redness, and skin flushing. It is a safe procedure that can be used at varying depths to help treat micro blood vessels in the skin. We also use it in our office for facial skin inflammation, keloids, and hypertrophic scarring. It is an important part of scar therapy. Vbeam can be combined with chemical peels and other lasers, but experience with the treatment is essential. The Vbeam laser does not affect deeper tissue. Schedule a consultation with an expert in Vbeam and you will find it to be an excellent modality for many skin types. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Removing Cherry Angiomas Pulsed Dye Laser treatments will remove the red color from the cherry angiomas, but it will not remove the bump (if there is one). Intense Pulsed Light treatments can correct or improve the texture and appearance of the skin, but it will not correct enough to remove the bump (if there is one) of the cherry angioma and it will not remove the red pigment, so there is little to no benefit with the IPL laser for cherry angiomas. I would recommend doing Pulsed Dye Laser treatments for cherry angiomas.

Answer: Light Electrocautery Works Well, Quickly & Inexpensively For Treating Cherry Hemangiomas Forget the heavily advertised, relatively expensive lasers and other energy-based devices, which, to date are backed far more by device manufacturer supported marketing hype than any hard science. Light electrocautery has been used successfully and with gratifying results to treat multiple cherry hemangiomas for many decades. I personally have been doing so for well over thirty years and in fact removed literally three dozen of varying sizes her back and chest in about fifteen minutes in this way from my wife over twenty years ago with extremely gratifying results. Best of luck.

Answer: Removal of cherry angioma In my opinion, a pulsed dye laser is the best to remove cherry angioma. This is a very commonly treated condition and the pulsed dye laser works very well in my patients with cherry angiomas.
