In many ways the revision will be easier than the first procedure but the swelling may be just the same. In most cases with a revision the scar can be lowered and improved, extra skin removed. more liposuction done, and the muscle retightened.

The muscle will probably not be touched, so it might not be as painful. Your incisions may possibly not be as long, nor will the umbilicus probably be moved. However, you will have some swelling, and compression will probably be used. Please ask your surgeon about this.
