How long to see results in flanks and bra fat lipo? 1 month post-op. (Photos)

Question

I had lipo on my bra fat and flanks and a tummy tuck about a month ago. I see some results on my back and more of an hourglass. My stomach is still swollen and find it flatter some days and other days looks more swollen. I haven't noticed much of a difference at all in my flanks and bra fat. When will o expect to see some results.

Hello and thank you for posting photos along with your question! Congrats on your surgery! Swelling after lipo can take a long time to go down. At about the 3 month mark is where you will notice a lot of the swelling will have decreased and you will start to see the results of your surgery. However, the "final" results wont be seen for about 6 months-1 year. I can already see a big difference after just 1 month so I would assume your results will only continue to improve with time! Make sure you are following your surgeons recs and I wish you a speedy recovery!Ankur Mehta MD

HI becca,I can already see some nice results from  your surgery. It an take sometimes up to 6 months ( or more) to see full results from liposuction. It seems as though you are doing well right now.
