I'm almost 33 and definitely not interested in underbite surgery. Would porcelain veneers help my underbite? (photos)

Generally speaking, veneers alone cannot correct a moderate under-bite.  Since surgery is not an option, you may be a great candidate for a series of adjustable retainers to expand your top arch and reduce the span of your bottom arch.  Another option may be Invisalign a the removal of a couple of teeth in your bottom arch.  Good luck and I hope this helps. Porcelain veneers alone,
depending on the extent of the under bite may help but judging by the photo’s,
you are on the borderline of being able to achieve this with the veneers alone.
The result and effect would be quite thick, un-aesthetic veneers to reduce the
effect or the illusion of the under bite. A possible option for you could be to
have minor pre cosmetic orthodontics using Invisalign where you take the teeth
out a fraction just to help reduce the overbite and then placement of the
veneer, this could be a possible scenario if surgery is totally a none option
for you.

I have treated many people with underbite and over bites that did not want to have braces or do jaw surgery with crowns and veneers.  The first step in order to find out if you are a candidate is to have molds of your teeth taken by an expert dentist in this area.  Then in the lab a moch up of how your teeth are going to look can be made.  If you and the dentist are happy with the results then you can proceed with the procedure.  This is the safest and most conservative way of exploring non surgical and non orthodontic options.Best,Dr. Kourosh Maddahi

I believe than more than porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns would be your option and it can also change your smile and have an aesthetic improvement of your smile. If we change with crowns with a complete smile makeover all teeth from the back we can certainly modify the way you bite and we can also change the size, color and shape. Hope this helps.
