The left side that is lower still has more muscle tightness, it feels that way anyways. Also when doing massages the left implant doesnt drop back as quickly as the right. Will my breast look closer the more they settle? When my arms are out or up my implants are pretty far apart.
Answer: Breasts asymmetry and wide cleavage Dear Mom, Thanks for posting your before and after pictures and sorry for your problems. From observing your pictures you appear to have breasts ptosis level 2 with significant asymmetry , as well as wide cleavage. 3 weeks after surgery is very early in the healing process and things will change with time , especially if you keep doing the implants displacement massage daily. It takes about 3-4 months to your breasts to settle (fluff) and than you should reassess your situation with your surgeon and plan for possible revision surgery. If you would like your breasts to be perkier, you will need an aggressive mini lift (donut) procedure, because the crescent lift that you had is not an efficient lift. Additionally, you might need medial capsulotomy (scar release) , in order to obtain nice cleavage. Alway, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after picture of redo breasts augmentation with mini lift in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking. Best of luck, Dr Widder

Answer: Has one breast dropped too much? I am 3 weeks post op. 400cc mod + dual plane technique. Thank you for your question. It is very important to carefully study your preop photos. The breast that looks lower postop looked lower preop. When one breast is lower on the chest wall the breast implant on that side will drop faster and further than the other breast. The only solution for better symmetry would be a lift of the lower breast.

Answer: Breast asymmetry after augmentation It is very common for one implant to drop faster than another in the initial post-op period. Usually, by 3 months, things have evened out. If you are concerned, it's always best to consult with your PS for an examination in person.

Answer: At 3 weeks, it is much too soon to try and judge your results your breasts will continue to drop and change for at least 3 months. it is much too premature to assess them now and I definitely would strongly advise against doing any surgical changes before then (even that is very early at 3 months, if you are thinking of having any further surgery. Generally better to wait 6 months).david berman md
