I'm a 15 year old girl, and I've been using eyelid tape/glue since I was 13. Creases measure to abt 6 mm (looking down). Sometimes creases form on their own, but they don't last longer than a few days. Skin on my right eyelid is sagging a bit. And oddly, creases set better on my left eyelid. Am I elligible for surgery when I'm 15/16? If I get the procedure, should I go full incisional or suture method? I want my creases to be permanent & prominent -- they don't really have to be larger/higher.

Answer: Asian blepharoplasty Hi there,If you like a permanent crease and not have to rely on tape/glue for your crease, you can consider asian blepharoplasty. There are two methods of doing this. There are incisional method or percutaneous method. There are advantages and disadvantages of each method. With the incisional method, it will result in a more permanent and longer-lasting result but requires a longer recovery time. The recovery time is much less with the percutaneous method but the result is less permanent. The suture could break if you rub your eyes too aggressively.Since you are only 15, you will need a parent/guardian's consent before you proceed with this surgery. You should also discuss everything further with the surgeon you wish to do your procedure with.Good luck,Dr. Hong
