Does microneedling change the shape and look of my nose?

I got three microneedling sessions so far. I feel that my nose looks bigger and has a different shape as it used to have before. Can microneedling actually change the looks of your nose?

No, microneedling won't change the shape of your nose. There can be some swelling after microneedling for a few days and this is due to inflammation and histamine release, which may make your nose appear larger. I do recommend doing microneedling with prp and lasers for best results. If you remain concerned, contact your Doctor. Best, Dr. Emer

Microneedling is a nonsurgical cosmetic treatment that can help to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles, acne scars and other causes of discoloration. It won’t, however, have any effect on the actual shape or size of your nose. It is possible that you could be experiencing some swelling, which might make your nose appear a little larger than normal, but know that this is only a temporary side effect and should go away on its own. No, microneedling will not change the shape of your nose. Microneedling will improve the appearance of your nose by improving the texture, strengthening the skin and inducing the collagen production.
