SylfirmX does treat the eyelids, but due to the depth of the needles (max 1.5mm on eye lids) and the localized nature of the radiofrequency, your eyes are safe. The correct technique requires the provider to hold the handpiece such that any pressure is exerted on the orbital bone rather than the eye itself. It's a wonderful treatment! Best of Luck! Sylfirm X treatment around the eyes may cause worsening dry eyes briefly (5-7 days after treatment). However, the treatment will not have any negative impact toward your cataract lens. I recommend discussing your eye conditions with your treating provider.
