I have thinning of breast tissue from breast feeding on the side. I used to have full B cup. Im 5"5' 133 pounds and 32/34 small B. Im not sure if my frame can take moderate plus 375 but I'm afraid HP will give me that fake super perky look. I need help with cc sizes and hp or moderate plus. i think my DR said my breast was 11cm each. Idk if that helps. Just asking for a second opinion.
Answer: Picking the right implant size to achieve your goals Dear luvlili09: It looks like you will likely get a very nice result from breast augmentation from your photos alone. In terms of picking the right implants (size and profile/projection) to achieve your goals, generally speaking, I consider two factors when selecting implants for my patients: 1. Dimensional planning and 2. Gel Implant Sizing system Dimensional planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Hence a physical exam is really needed to give you any meaningful advice. Gel Implant Sizing system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural fuller look. Hope this helps. Dr. Basu - Houston, TX

Answer: Profile in implants The best way to pick implant is based on your breast and chest width. As the implants get bigger, they get wider. When the width of the implant fits the width of your chest, it will look nice and fits your frame. If the implants are too small, you will have a gap between them and they may look too far apart. There are ways to get a bigger or smaller look. This can be done by picking a different implant profile. The higher the profile, the narrower the base width of the implant. If someone has a very narrow chest and wants to be big, they should consider a higher profile implant. If someone has a broad chest and they do not want to be too big but want to avoid the gap and still have cleavage without projection, they should consider a lower profile implant such as a moderate. There are options in between these such as the moderate plus. I prefer the underarm approach so there is no scar on your breast. The new silicone is the only way to give you a natural feel like breast tissue with less rippling. I recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who can take proper measurements for profile recommendations. Dr. Ennis

Answer: Breast implant projections Thank you for your question. In general, assessment of soft tissue goes hand in hand with measurements. 11 cm likely refers to your current breast diameter and at a volume of 375cc is actually closer to an ultra high profile implant. That is by measurements alone. I use the Mentor gel sizing system and have been happy with that. Talk to your doctor and express your concerns. My opinion is that ultra high will look a bit fake and that moderate profile plus may be a bit too wide for you as that device measures out at a diameter of almost 13cm. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Will 375cc HP give me natural full boobs? Or should I do 375 moderate plus? In most cases, your surgeon (who actually sees and examines you) is probably best suited to help you determine what size and shape implant will best fit your body and desires. That said, if your breast width is truly 11 cm, a 375 cc moderate profile may be somewhat wide for your breast and frame. Check with your surgeon on this issue. Also, ask if you can try the implants on in a bra. This will give you a good idea as to how they will look and feel. Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
