Dear guest user10:If your settings were correct, and an effective device was used, you should have been able to achieve permanent hair removal after 3 to 6 treatments. It can take more treatments to achieve enough clearing for you to be satisfied, but after three to six treatments, you should definitely see a significant difference, and it should be permanent. Women with elevated androgens due to polycystic ovarian disease or congenital adrenal hyperplasia, but, in my experience, also see a very significant difference in 3 to 6 treatments.A more detailed explanation for this is given below.All the best, Dr. Clark

You may need to be evaluated for hormone issues -pcos or poly cystic ovary if you are a woman .Second the settings may need to be higher .Discuss with physician re work up and any change in regimen
