Is it safe for me to get a mommy makeover if I have Lupus Nephritis?

Question

I haven't had anything bad happen as far as lupus besides 2017 when i first found out with renal failure/dialysis. Since then I've been fine no flares. I just had a baby 9/29/20 no signs of flare or aches.

I do not think a patient who previously underwent dialysis is a good candidate for mommy makeover. Surgery is a big stress on the system and I would not want to push you back into a kidney problem. If anything, we would get all sorts of clearances to try to determine safety. Aesthetic surgery should really only be done under safe, ideal circumstances.
