I had fat grafting with my exchange surgery in mid-May. I'm noticing some subtle changes and my plastic surgeon says that reabsorption process has started. I realize only about 50% of what was grafted will live, but how long does that process take? I had radiation also, and I love the results of the surgery and grafting, but I don't know if that effects the reabsorption process.

This tightness feeling can happen, and does fairly often. Good news is, it will go away, and your tissues, including the Alloderm, will relax fairly soon. In the meantime, you can take some muscle relaxants if you're having muscle spasms to see if that helps.
It sounds like you need a thorough review of your history and a detailed exam. I also incorporate 3D imaging in all of these cases to establish the volume differences between the two reconstructions. We would be happy to help if you can travel.
Red breast syndrome is usually associated with acellular dermal matrix (Alloderm, strattice, etc) more than with the actual implants. It's a delayed hypersensitivity reaction and usually involves the part of the breast that overlies the Alloderm. It could also be completely unrelated...
