Face lift scar and revision - should I trust the same surgeon? (Photo)

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. At least from the photo provided, the elevated post-surgical scars appear to hypertrophic. If indeed so, then the use of intralesional anti-inflammatory injections would be a very appropriate first choice to shrink, flatten, and lighten these scars without the need for further surgery. Revision surgery, as with any surgery particularly in areas prone to scarring, runs the risk for the subsequent development of stretch scars and even tram track stitch marks.
