I'm lost and not sure what to do about my botched BBL/ butt implant surgery. Please help me

Thank you for your query. It is difficult to give a proper opinion without pictures. However, a small amount of asymmetry can be corrected with fat injections from another part of your body. However, if the asymmetry is more, you may need replacement of the implant. Please discuss your concerns with your Plastic surgeon who should be able to help you. Otherwise do seek a second opinion. Allow me to answer your question as best i can without any photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

One thing for sure is that placement problems with buttock implants cannot be fixed with BBL and/or trying to fat graft over and around them. In this case, a revision of the buttock implants usually needs to be performed. This means that the implants may need to be repositioned into a better intramuscular pocket and/or a better shaped implant may be required (i.e. round and some silicone gel implants are not the natural shape of the buttock muscles, as opposed to Stanton Anatomic®️ buttock implants which are more anatomically correct).

Please note that an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in these buttock implants, so you may need to travel far and away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure, we generally always need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
Without seeing pictures, we can’t begin to understand the problem or recommend a course of treatment.
