I’m 46-years/old and quite slender.. I’ve been using botox, hyaluronic acid fillers, and threads, but am no longer getting the outcome I want. At this point, would I get better results from 3-4 vials of Sculptra or a Facelift?
Answer: Sculptra or Facelift Sculptra and a facelift are used to target different issues. A facelift will help to tighten loose skin and sagging of the lower face and neck. Sculptra is primarily used to add volume to areas of the face, which can sometimes provide some lifting to a small degree. Based on your photos, I think both procedures could be of some benefit to you. Another option I think you would be a good candidate for would be Face/NeckTite. This is a radio frequency procedure that delivers heat to cause tightening of the tissue under the surface of the skin. This could provide some tightening along your jawline.

Answer: Facelift or Sculptra? Finding the best treatment option for you Thank you for your question and photos. Sculptra is an excellent choice for restoring volume in the face naturally by stimulating more collagen production within the dermal tissue. However, if skin laxity is more of a concern for you, particularly along the jawline, a surgical facelift might offer the best result. This procedure repositions underlying muscle and tissue while removing redundant skin to produce a natural, more youthful appearance. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can assess you in person and create a customized treatment plan based on your precise needs and goals.

Answer: Sculptra I would recommend fillers with hyaluronic acid for the facial features. The results can be very precise. Sculptra unlike other fillers increases volume as it induces collagen production. So the solution itself is not the one that produces the added volume. The process relies on the body's natural collagen production. Moreover, you may also benefit from PDO.

Answer: Sculptra or facelift Dear cml555,First of all I’d want to find out what outcome you feel you’d like? Think of sculptra as a fertiliser for the skin, it tightens lax and crinkling skin very well. There are areas it can’t be used in, like forehead, eyes and lips. If you’d like more youthful structure in the face like lengthening of chin or creating a more refined jawline then it’s HA fillers/ radiesse (in my opinion). If you’d like more radiant skin with less smile lines but some degree of volumisation of the aforementioned areas then sculptra is helpful. If you’d like less squaring of the face had you considered a thread lift? This can create some repositioning of the jowling that appears but I often do threads in conjunction with fillers (Ha or sculptra)Facelifts are fast becoming a thing of the past as so much can be achieved with non surgical means. What you really need is an experienced doctor who can translate your concerns into practical solutions for you to give you the results you would like and who isn’t afraid to refer you elsewhere if surgery is the best option for you. I wish you all the best,Dr Maeve Kenningham

Answer: Facelift Hi there, You look great and keeping up on Botox and fillers has kept things looking great! But if you have the down time you are young enough to have excellent results with a lower neck and facelift with minimal scarring and you will enjoy the results for a very long time. Best of luck...
