26, deep chin shadows - Am I a good candidate for a chin implant?

Im 26 years old and have noticed deep chin shadows since I was 22, along with smile lines. I’ve always had a recessed chin but all the pictures I see with chin implants the patients didn’t have deep chin shadows/ recession prior. Would a chin implant work in this case? If not, any alternatives to fix the chin area and smile lines?

It appears that your chin projection in the horizontal plane is adequate. I would recommend a CT to determine if the vertical height is correct. In some cases of vertical excess, the chin height can be reduced, making it easier to bring the lips together. Overall, you have an attractive chin.
