Do you have to get Fillers dissolved before Brow lift and Upper Eyelid Surgery?

Question

I have fillers in upper eyelid region under and above eyebrows and around eye area and temples. Do I need to wait or dissolve everything before being able to get a Browlift + Upper Eyelids Done? Thank you in advance

Hello and thank you for your question. My recommendation would be to have your filler dissolved prior to surgery. This allows your surgeon to obtain an accurate assessment of your natural anatomy to allow for optimal surgical planning. However, having filler in place is not a contraindication to undergoing surgery. I recommend discussing this further with your treating provider to determine the next best steps for you!

Depending upon how much filler material is present, you might want to consider getting the filler dissolved in the eyelids and forehead, since you have inflated the normal anatomy. The temporal filler does not need to be dissolved
