Is liposuction enough to address webbing under my chin or do I need a neck lift / muscle repair? (photos)

I’ve had this bit of fat/skin under my chin even when I was extremely thin. My jaw line is pretty defined but I hate how under my chin is not super tight. It looks like webbing or something. So I need to do a muscle repair or would lipo be enough? I’m only 26.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from chin lipo. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for the photos you've provided. I don't think you have a big chin it looks quite good but if you are unhappy about it you can try to have chin liposuction instead of lifts. You are so young and you look healthy, I believe your skin may retract after the liposuction.

Liposuction can only remove fat deposits above the platysma muscle, while a surgical neck lift is performed when there is sub-platysma fat deposits. A platysma plasty is performed to significantly improve the jawline. An in person exam will be required to make that determination

I know it’s very easy to look in the mirror and pull on soft tissues and think the problem is what you don’t like seeing.
In your case and the issues stem from your mandible lacking projection in the part of the mandible called the body. The front part of the mandible called the mentalis or chin has great projection but the part of the mandible that holds your teeth which is called the body sits too far back and this gives you a significant dental overbite occlusion. It also shows on your profile picture because your upper lip has significantly more forward projection than your lower lip.
When the body of the mandible lacks for projection the underlying platysma muscle drapes the neck in a more oblique fashion and that’s the underlying reason why your neck looks the way it does.
Keep your weight low, wear sunscreen daily, avoid all tobacco or nicotine containing products and stay healthy.
Avoid surgical intervention unless you want to address the primary problem which is probably way too much surgery for your concern. mandibular advancement is pretty involved procedures and is a major undertaking.
As much as you may think so this is not a soft tissue problem is the result of your facial skeletal structure.
Attempted soft tissue manipulation will not fix the problem and will let the best give it some partial solution but I also put you at risk for some undesirable other side effect.
My recommendation is you leave this alone.
