I am a 23 year old female who is 5'6 and 165 lbs. I am active and have a healthy lifestyle but have always had excess fat around my midsection even at my smallest. I have good skin quality (no stretch marks or loose skin). Overall I am satisfied with my weight and it has been stable for about a year, I really just want to improve my shape and reduce fat volume in my abdomen and back. I am wondering if I am a good candidate and can expect to have a noticeable difference in my shape after lipo360.
Answer: You are a pretty good candidate. Liposuction of your abdomen and flanks also called lipo 360 could give you a much smaller waist and a smaller stomach. One benefit of liposuction is that it will not leave a large scar. Recovery is easier for liposuction. The other option would be a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty. A tummy will likely give you a flatter stomach, but it will also give you a large scar. Based the pictures you shared you are a pretty good candidate for liposuction, but it is possible after recovery from the liposuction you may still have a small bulge in your lower stomach. Even if you were left with a small roll yours, you would have a smaller waist and stomach liposuction. A tummy tuck will likely leave with a flat stomach, but you will have a scar from hip to hip. I recommend you discuss your options with a surgeon who you can trust to be honest with you and explain the pro and cons of all the options. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

Answer: Liposuction Dear Powerful9843, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from liposuction. However, there is a risk of loose skin after liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Lipo 360 Hi, from your photos and your self description, you are an excellent candidate for a lipo-360. However, you need to be aware that the biggest factor that will effect your outcome will be the skill of the surgeon. The second factor will be the equipment. For this kind of case I like to use the Vaser® ultrasound probe and Microaire® power assisted liposuction to sculpt and remove the fat followed by Renuvion® to tighten your skin. This technique is call High Definition liposuction. TotalDefiner® trained doctor are the best trained for this type of procedure. Most doctors will prefer to perform the 360 under general anesthesia, but I prefer to do it under local. Many plastic surgeons will tell you that you need a tummy tuck but a skilled High Def liposuction trained doctor can give you better looking results without the ugly scar.

Answer: Liposuction Candidate -- VASER HI DEF Liposculpture, ThermiRF, Fat Grafting, Renuvion, Inmode BodyTite, See an Expert You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of QWO or Cellfina, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Liposuction You appear to have excess adipose tissue around your trunk. For that you are a good candidate for liposuction of your trunk. You did no mention if you have had children. If so you would need to be evaluated for diastasis rectus. If you have diastasis, it would require a tummy tuck to get your abdomen completely flat along with the liposuction. Discuss all with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.
