Is my wound after a breast fat transfer healing properly? (Photos)

Question

3 weeks post op lipo/breast fat transfer. All my wounds from lipo are closing up, even the bad ones from the sides, but one of the wounds from my breast fat transfer is still puckered/wide open. I’m surprised as I heard there wouldn’t be any scar for the breast fat transfer but liposuction. It’s about 5mm in diameter and 3mm deep since day 1. Is this normal? I’m worried the hole might be there permanently. I feel that a stitch would have helped it to close up but is it too late to get it stitched up now?

BUT it will heal with time.  Your photo appears to show one side nearly healed and the other side gaping open.  Both should appear like the one almost closed.  But as your procedure was one of fat grafting, problem 3 weeks down the road are not anticipated and if you end up with a scar that is not acceptable to you, you can always discuss scar revisions with your surgeon.  But don't be surprised if you're asked to wait a whole year before considering revisions.
