I just got my temp veneers put on 2 days ago. since then, my gums look raw and are slightly bleeding. I have sweeling around my mouth and primarily my nose. is this normal?
Answer: Veneers cause swelling? Around the veneers , yes there could be some swelling, but not all over to the nose, that is not normal, you should contact your dentist right away, provably is a a pulp inflammation, and this needs to be treated.

Answer: Swelling After Veneers Though this is a rare occurrence after the veneer preparation process, this can happen. Typcially, this occurs as a result of the anesthestic given to numb your mouth and not an actual bacterial infection. I would call your dentist and let them take a look to make sure there is not an issue. Odds are it will be gone in a few days. Good luck.

Answer: Temporary porcelain veneer prototypes can irritate gums There are many possible reasons for your reaction, so be sure to go back to your dentist for evaluation. If the margins (edges) of the veneers are below the gumline, the gums may simply be irritated and will heal perfectly when the case is done. Keep everything clean, rinse with hydrogen peroxide occaisionally, and you should be good to go. The prototypes may not be as smooth as the finals will be, and the advice is the same as above.Odds are that everything is fine, but go back to your dentist to be sure nothing else is wrong.

Answer: Swollen Gums? You will have the most swelling typically today. Are you taking any Advil or any other NSAID? Make sure you don't have any sour taste in your mouth or any drainage. Those are your typical signs of infection. Post pictures if you can. Thanks.
