I had vaser lipo 8 weeks ago. I wore the compression garment for 6 weeks and have been having lymphatic drainage massage weekly. For 8 weeks I have been stuck At home in my pyjamas., nothing in my wardrobe fits me. I can't get my skinny jeans past my hips. I am bigger not smaller and very very depressed about how much money I have spent to look fatter. I weighed 119lb before and now I'm 125lb. If I need to go out I can only wear lounge pants an tshirts. My surgeon no longer answers my emails
Answer: Vaser Liposuction Results Yes, it's normal and 8 weeks is too soon for results because recovery varies greatly between patients. Final #results can usually be seen 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined, but improvement will continue for 4–6 months as swelling and irregularities resolve. These contours can even improve throughout the year after surgery. Also, exercise is typically recommended after two weeks to minimize #adhesion between skin and deeper tissues. You can slowly begin walking, swimming, or riding a stationary bicycle. Be sure that you follow your surgeon’s instructions as to caring for yourself during #recovery (such as wearing garments or lymphatic massage) and visit your surgeon in his/her office since your e-mails are not answered. I hope your concern was addressed. #RealSelf100

Answer: Unlikely you are fatter but have swelling Hi there, It is very unlikely you have more fat after the vaser procedure but likely you are still carrying the water weight that is associated with the numbing solution that is used during vaser liposuction. Some patients will see a huge shift in weight for the first couple months but it will decrease with time. You can aid in this by getting lymphatic massages, and keeping to a low sodium diet which will help decrease the water retention. The final results will not be seen until 6-7 months. You are only 33% of the way there, be patient and stay committed to a clean diet! Good luck

Answer: Liposuction Results & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Vaser Lipo The recovery from Vaser Liposuction varies tremendously from person to person. While many people are seeing good results by week 5 or 6, I do occasionally have patients that are "fatter" for 10-12 weeks. The lymphatic drainage massages are a good idea. I also recommend that you walk as much as possible starting the day after the surgery. This helps to decrease the swelling more quickly. In addition, holding heating pads to the area and doing self-massage can increase blood flow, which also speeds up the healing. I would recommend putting on the sweat pants and a t-shirt and getting outside for 1-2 hours of walking a day. I think you should also call the surgeon's office and schedule a follow-up appointment so that you can talk to him or her about his in person.Best of luck to you.
