Hi @monil! You would be a great candidate for tear trough filler. Restylane and Juvederm are common fillers used in the area. You can expect tear trough filler to last for 6-12 months sometimes longer. Seasonal allergies can cause puffiness of the undereye area if not treated. I would suggest using antihistamines during allergy season.

Hello Monil.  You're a perfect candidate for under eye hollowing (see photo at link below) in dark skin.  Typically 1/2 syringes of Restylane does the trick.  Duration can be 6-12 months and potential side effects are bruising or swelling.  Best of luck.  

id suggest really good skincare like restorsea eye serum, sente eye, and reve 1.0 retinol along with at home peels like enlighten and dermarolling (see link to emeragecosmetics.com where we do free skincare consults daily).  In office fillers and aerolase laser can be done , I like vollure/volbella or belotero to this are most.  
There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will be the best long term.  However, non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels and stem cells can all help give some improvement. Restylane is a good filler for under eye area but the technique matters as much. Also best to be conservative and under correct. See an expert.

I think you would be a great candidate for filler to address hollowness under the eye area. Both Restylane and Juvederm are popular options; I often choose Belotero as it is excellent in areas with thin skin, disperses evenly, and has not been associated with the Tyndall effect (which is a blueish discoloration that occurs when fillers are placed too close to the surface of the skin). I would caution against using Radiesse in this area - it's one of my favorites for creating structure for cheeks, temples, and jawlines - but it is a very thick product for the eye area and cannot be dissolved if placed incorrectly, as HA fillers can. I would also recommend adding a high-quality eye cream to your regimen, if you haven't already. Both SkinMedica and Neocutis make excellent products for this.
As far as longevity, this varies from patient to patient. Typically you can expect 6-12 months or even longer, depending on factors such as metabolism, activity level, facial movement, etc. Seasonal allergies will not impact effectiveness of filler, but they can certainly cause discoloration and/or puffiness of the undereye area if not treated. I would suggest you speak with your PCP about regular use of Claritin, Zyrtec, or other antihistamines during allergy season.

You appear to be a good candidate for under eye filler.  I like Restylane for this area.  If needed I combine it with some Restylane Lyft filler to the cheek for a more complete look.  The results will last 12-18 months.  See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.

I would recommend Restylane in the tear troughs  it should last for at least four months. Duration is linked to volume injected in my opinion.

What you have is a congenital low attachment of the muscles attaching to the bone below the orbital rim. It is easy to fill with a heavy filler like Juvederm Voluma or Radiesse. I could not disagree more about the use of Restylane for this. Use of it or similar fillers is a carryover from where we began treating this area, but has now been replaced with the above fillers placed deep rather than superficial because they are safer and provide better correction and last longer. I have had Voluma last over 5 years. Make sure you see a true expert who is experienced with modern technique.
