Do I have swelling from areola reduction

I had breast augmentation in august and 5 days ago had an areola reduction. Do I have swelling from this procedure and will my breasts look smaller over time? I have an appointment to get my sutures removed 10 days post op and would like to know when I should start moisturising the scars

Yes it is not uncommon to have some swelling after this procedure.  I encourage you to continue to follow the instructions provided by your surgeon in caring for your incisions during this early phase.  Once the sutures are removed your surgeon will advise when you can begin using products on them.

There is swelling after any surgical procedure on the breast, areloar or nipple.  usually if the incisions are well healed, you can start with gentle massage aster three weeks and increase over the next few weeks (using moisterizer)
