What is this string hanging from my chin? 2 weeks post-op. (Photos)

I'm 2 weeks postop of my chin implant & I was picking at my scab because it seemed lumpy, then this clear string came from underneath my skin & I don't know whether to cut it or leave it alone but it's noticeable & my doctors office is closed over the weekend. I have work tomorrow & would prefer not to walk around with a string attached lol

It's not uncommon to have some temporary changes in sensation after chin implant.  It may take a few months, ie 6+, to resolve.  This is probably just due to dissection/nerve stretching and not so much to the position of the implant.  The implant would have to be really, really high to actua...

It is possible that your chin implant is creating a pressure on portion of the inferior mandibular nerve. Also, the scar which is formed around implant may contribute to this compression. Usually nerve injuries in this site are temporary and signs of nerve damage would go away in 3-6 months, so...
