I am three months post -op. I am not a smoker but occasionally maybe 2-3 times I go out to smoke hookah with friends. Would it be bad to smoke hookah at 3 months post op or better to wait longer or no longer smoke it at all?

If you smoke double apple you will be fine! All jokes aside you will be fine this far out. Of course as a doctor I have to say smoking affects your microcirculation so theoretically it will affect hair but there is no proof that smokers have a higher rate of being bald. Too many factors involved for smoking to actually affect your hair.

Hello, good question. Since you are three months post op you can go about your normal daily activities with no adverse affects on your transplanted area. However, it is best to not smoke at all since it negatively affects your overall health.

At 3 months, you are fully healed and the grafts have taken root. I don't believe that anything you can do will slow the growth
