I plan a rhinoplasty and I have already visited a surgeon. I have a "beak nose" with a large dorsal hump and my nose droops when I smile. According to the surgeon, there is no need to do any work on the tip because it will automatically stop drooping after he shaves down the hump. Is it really possible? Performing a rhinoplasty and a septoplasty will not create ENS. Removing excessive middle turbinate or inferior turbinate tissue can certainly lead to ENS. Best to have a frank discussion with your operative surgeon about avoiding turbinate surgery
Although you don’t show photos rhinophyma can be Addressed at an earlier stage as you describe. It can be treated with either laser or dermabrasion. If it recurs the treatment can be repeated as needed.
