In the US, legally we have to advise you to goto 0.25mm at home. In the office, we can go to 1.75-2.0 mm without problem. Like Dr Schwartz I do not like rolling on the neck- too much ripping and tearing of the skin, thus leaving marks. Best use a stamping device. It is safe to do micro-needling on almost any areas of the body as long as you do not use needles longer than 1.5 mm. However, I am not a fan of "rollers" as they create a moreerratic pattern of "tears" through the skin rather than the clean,more evenly distributed punctures seen with the motorized micro-needlingmachines.
