Hello,I keep reading that you need at least 1.5 depth needles to make a difference in scarring but I've also read that you shouldn't use needle lengths of 1.5 or above on your face because it can cause collagen break down.

I personally would recommend a 0,5 mm roller for home use. Anything approaching 1 mm will require numbing cream and antibiotics afterwards as you will bleed. I like a once to twice a month regime for my patients to do 'home work' in between energy based micro needling devices. See more...
