Is there any way to remove scars/wrinkles caused my angular cheilitis? (photos)

I used to suffer from chronic angular cheilitis (cracked corners of the mouth) but over the past few months I haven't had a recurrence. However, the corners of my mouth are still severely scarred and wrinkled. I've tried everything to try to remove these scars/wrinkles. Antifungal/antibacterial creams, hydrocortisone, Eucrisa, SLS/Flouride-Free toothpaste, coconut oil, Dr. Dan's, Mederma, but nothing works! Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Perhaps laser treatment? Please help.

Hiello mangosago.In reviewing your photos, it appears that you have very fine linear lines or scars at the corners of the mouth.  If this is the area that bothers you then we would suggest a laser resurfacing procedure. We would use the Sciton Profractional laser and a treatment called the microlaserpeel to smooth out those lines.  Typically one treatment should do the trick and we very often provide this procedure for smoker's lines around the mouth.

It seems that the ulcers from angular cheilitis are still there. You need to try the following;Apply vaseline in the corner of the mouth at all times and especially before going to sleep.Load up on vitamins including Vit C, Vit B comples, Multivitamin, Vit D and L-Lysine.Also avoid hot and spicy foods for a while. RegardsDr. J

These scars can be improved with laser spot treatment, fillers, microneedling/prp and subcision to help texture and blending. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
