Pre treatments for Vi peels?

Hi. I am currently using Clindamycin (1%) and Benzoyl Peroxide (5%) topical gel, and Adapalene cream (1%), can I undergo Vi peel or Vi peel precision plus? Do I need to stop using these topical creams before the peel? Thank you!

Thank you for your question! I would advise you to stop using any topical medications at least few days before your treatment. It will enhance Vi Peel results and prevent any complications. You can recume using your topical medications once your skin is healed and done peeling. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. In my opinion, topical medications, especially retinoids such as tretinoin, adapalene, Retin-A, Differin, etc., should be stopped 3 days prior to a VI peel or VI Peel Precision Plus. They can be resumed once your skin is done peeling. I highly recommend you consult with an experienced and certified technician or physician regarding your questions and concerns.
