I want more volume in the 45 degree of my chin. So it looks longer and I want it to be as pointy as possible. No width. Can the implant be placed like that, under the thickest point of the bone? Will this cause more or less bone erosion? Possible to cause a small gap between implant and chin bone to prevent erosion? I'm naturally very round and have a short chin seen from the front view. Ive been satisfied with 1,5-2 ml of HA fillers there, but want more projection and lasting bc fillers sags.

I would recommend following the instructions of your surgeon and leaving the tape on for a week, but I would also recommend contacting your surgeon to let them know your problem. They may be able to have you go in and have the tape changed which may give you some relief.
At my practice, I commonly send my patients to get a CT scan in order to get the exact positioning of a previous chin implant. I also use a CT scan when designing custom implants.
