Can ovulation increase pain in Brazilian laser hair removal?

I completed about 8 LHR sessions around 9mnths before I purchased another package. Tech supposedly put me on my original temperature for the 2nd new session but I was jumpy. Felt too HOT! I didn’t have burns and felt normal after the session. It’s the DIODE type of laser that’s like an ultrasound w/o zaps. The difference is that I used to go about 1wk before my monthly cycle but now I’m going during ovulation.

Every so often, we do see an itchy bumpy rash following laser hair removal. This is usually because of irritation of the hair follicles in the treated area, and this can be easily treated with a mild cortisone preparation. I suggest contacting your Dr. for a topical solution. Best, Dr. Emer
