Normal healing of nipple necrosis? Can anyone give me a time frame? Breast reduction. No implants. (Photos)

Is this area of necrosis healing normally? It was first a black scab then my PS did slight debriding and revealed dark red tissue under. Now it's become inflated and white. No odor, some pain but I was told I have some fat necrosis as well. Is this abnormal? I had a breast reduction. No implants.

As always with questions like this, I would recommend seeing your doctor. Based on the photos, though one would hope the area would be completely healed by this stage, yours has not. It most likely will just be a matter of time. Be patient and follow up with your surgeon.

Definitely don't keep these wounds dry. Small wounds like these need to be kept moist with either Vaseline or preferably Bacitracin ointment ($5 for a tube at your local pharmacy) to promote healing.  This is a fact. You have a couple options for dressings once you apply the Bacitracin oint...
