New cellulite and thigh/buttocks swelling after TT?

Almost 12 wks post TT &lipo of the lower back & flanks. I have a few questions: 1) my biggest concern is: Is it normal for thighs/buttocks to become very swollen? I've gained no weight but I can't fit in my jeans (in the thighs) like I used to. And now I have cellulite. Is it temporary? Is it from the lipo? It's driving me crazy. PLEASE HELP. 2) I'm still numb in my lower back--is that normal? 3)is it normal to go from a tight and flat midsection one day to very bloated/swollen the next?

Dear Tatooedmama,swelling after a liposuction and TT is very common. That is why we offer complimentary Venus Legacy Radio Frequency Treatments to help with fluid mobilization after liposuction. Also, numbness is another possible complication of liposuction and it usually resolves within a few months. Your surgery was relatively recent. It takes a long time (many months, sometimes a year or longer) for all swelling to subside and the tissues to soften. I do not think a tummy tuck could cause permanent swelling of the thighs or buttocks. Likewise, I do not believe it could cause cellulite --- so relax, be patient -- it will all get better.
