One week is not enough to see the final results from the rhinoplasty. You still have swelling on the nose and the tip may be one of the areas with more swelling, be patient and you will see how in the next weeks the swelling will go down and the tip will change. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

It's still too soon to tell what your final results will be. You need to have patience with your body as it begins to heal. The skin, bone and cartilage are all traumatized during surgery. Inflammation (swelling) is the normal response and will help your nose to heal and look beautiful in the end. If, one year from now, you are unhappy with your nose, then that is the time to think about a revision procedure. Right now, concentrate on other things you like to do and let your nose and under eyes take the time to heal. Based on your photos, you appear to have had bump removal, slight nasal shortening, and tip rotation. Digital photos rarely tell the whole story, and one week postoperative is way too soon to judge your final result. Your nose does not appear to be too long. Hope this is helpful! Dr Joseph
