I know it's still pretty early and my nose is swollen. My nose still looks too long and pointy, especially at the tip and that's not what I ask from the doctor at all. I actually ask the opposite. Do you think the tip will come more back after swelling? And if not would I be able to fix just the Nasal tip without breaking any bones again in the future? Thank you for your time

Answer: 1 week postop It is waaaaaaay too early to judge any part of your surgical result. The nose is very swollen and things should certainly settle down over the coming months. Discuss with your surgeon any specific questions but try to be patient and hopefully you will be happy in the end. Good luck!

Answer: Nasal tip outcome 1 week after surgery As I'm sure your surgeon discussed with you, the swelling can take up to 1 year to resolve. The nasal tip is the area that has the most swelling 1 week after surgery. The shape of your nose already looks good at this stage and should only get better with time. However, if you are still not happy in 1 year, nasal tip surgery can be performed but would likely need to be combined with additional take down of the bridge if you truly want the nose closer to your face.
