I have gotten under eye filler multiple times over the course of 5 years. About 8 months ago, I received Restylane under the eyes and looked very over-filled. I decided to finally dissolve, with the hopes of getting it re-done. I have done 2 sessions of dissolver and although my cheeks have flattened, I have malar bags now under my eyes! I never had eye bags before. What do I do? Please help! I've never looked like this in my life.
Answer: Fillers In Cheeks & Directly Under The Eyes Improve Tear Troughs & Under Eye Hollows The photos show tear troughs and infraorbital hollowing--not malar bags. As such, the appropriate use of a volumizing fillers to the cheeks can be helpful for not only creating more feminine, heart-shaped cheeks, but improving support to the under eye area and thus diminishing the hollows and creating a smoother upper cheek to lower lid transition. If, following this, the under eyes still require some direct additional improvement, Belotero Balance would make a very good choice. I am no fan of fat injections for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is if something goes wrong or the result not aesthetically pleasing, there is no simple way to dissolve fat globules the way one can hyaluronic acid with the enzyme hyaluronidase. Fat injections are also much more expensive and requires a two minimally invasive prodedures--one to extract the fat with large bore cannulas from the belly, hips or thighs and a second such procedures to reinject the fat with larger cannulas under the eyes. Additionallly, despite claims to the contrary, the results are often not permanent, since much of the fat separated from its original blood supply does not survive and that which does supply retains the properties of the region from which it was taken. This means that if with aging, belly fat plumps up then the belly fat placed under the eyes may develop midriff bulges, as well. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her personal befores and afters photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: Dissolving the filler may only be the first step The swelling caused by filler in this area may not completely resolve after dissolving the filler away. If it does not, other treatments like radio frequency and/or laser may help improve the molar edema.

Answer: Likely still filler It is unlikely for you to have "stretched" out skin from filler unless it was a significant amount. What is more likely is that there is still remaining filler under your eyes that needs to be completely dissolved. This should take care of your problem.

Answer: Trading tear troughs You do not have mailer bags. What you do have is significant tear troughs. In my opinion fat grafting should produce beautifully permanent and natural looking results as long as the procedures done by a plastic surgeon with lots of experience in fat grafting techniques. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery plastic surgery
