I just got cheek filler for the first time and it’s not me. I hate it. I have a very small narrow face and it’s too much. I also got my nasal folds done but he put too much there too. I look bloated and not at all like myself. Can I get this dissolved and will I look like myself again.
Answer: Dermal filler Hi @Amyfspector. I'm sorry you are not happy with your dermal filler results. If you were injected with a Hyaluronic acid facial filler, it can be dissolved by hyaluronidase injections. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Filler reversal and additional filler needed There are many options if you are unhappy with fillers. Hyaluronidase enzyme continues to be an excellent option for patients with fillers that need to be dissolved. Fillers can swell and migrate unpredictably, especially when a filler with a high-edema quotient is used in thin areas. Our office uses disciplined approaches to help patients with acute or chronic issues related to hyaluronic acid fillers. We begin by assessing for any tissue compromise and advocate early treatment to avoid complications with vascular occlusion. In chronic issues, it is important to gradually break up and dissolve filler so there is no further migration of loose filler substrate. Conservative staged dilution may also help avoid volume loss. If the filler is not dissolving, we may consider stronger concentrations or surgery or determine if there is biopolymer that is synthetic and permanent. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Can cheek fillers be dissolved? if you got a hyaluronic acid filler it can be dissolved. i would wait 2 weeks from injection to determine if you want that done as the filler takes time to settle. RF treatments can be done at the same time to soften it all. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Can I dissolve my filler? Hi, thanks for your question. It depends on what kind of filler you had injected. If it's a hyaluronic acid (HA) based filler, then yes, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. If it's a different filler, that's not HA based then you will have to wait until it dissolves on its own. Keep in mind that if it is an HA based filler it could take more than one session to dissolve. I highly recommend that you speak to your provider about your concerns.

Answer: Hyaluronidase Hyaluronidase is a naturally occurring enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid, getting rid of the filler and reverting your appearance to its baseline state. If you are not satisfied you can always have it dissolved. Moreover, the administration of hyaluronidase is a highly technical procedure. There are so many factors to consider to determine if you are a good candidate for it, the best product to use, the right amount, injection technique, etc. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
