What is the best laser for my skin type? Asian/Yellow skin tone with black hair.

I'm planning on doing laser hair removal for my upper lip. I have PCOS which sucks, I don't know how many sessions will I have to go through. The clinic that I'm going to uses Candela GentleMax Pro and Alma Soprano XL Diode.

Hello.  Laser hair removal can be offered around the eyes with the right equipment and right experience.  The issue is that laser hair removal does not offer the precision of shaping an eyebrow like threading does so we have to be careful not to take off too much hair in the area....

Individuals with fair skin and very dark skin can be at greater risk for pigment changes of the skin after laser hair removal. It sounds like you are experiencing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.  I am so sorry to hear this. I'm sure that is very painful. I would recommend that you see your doctor frequently and use topical antibiotics unt  the area heals.

 Using the 1064 (Nd:YAG) laser great choice for your skin type. You have only had one treatment  and this sounds completely normal.  To see the maximum results for your legs you need 6-8 treatments 8 weeks apart.
