Can you use J-Plasma/Renuvion on top of the skin of the body as well as under the skin of the body?

I see that Drs use JPlasma/Renuvion under the skin when it comes to tightening the body and usually over the skin when it comes to the face. Can you use this procedure over the skin on the body too, not just under the skin and can you do both?

Thank you for your question!  Yes, it can be used externally an internally as well. There are numerous non-surgical options available for your skin, and some can be used in combination to get best outcomes, but you would need a consultation with an expert.
Some options for skin tightening include:

Thank you for your question. You are essentially getting at the difference between skin resurfacing, and skin tightening. In general, the former is beneficial for the face and the latter for the skin of the body. J-plasma over the skin of the body does not yield useful results.

Thanks for your question.Due to the initial uses of Renuvion, body treatments for skin resurfacing has not been done at this time.  The thickness of the skin may pose some issues with current protocols.  The face will heal well.  There are many other technologies for the body that will provide good results.

Facial resurfacing with Reunion is a new technique with remarkable results. It also works very well for skin tightening (shrink wrapping) when used under the skin in multiple areas - abdomen, arms, knees etc. Using it over the skin in those areas will not tighten. The way the procedure tightens th skin has to do with contraction of the underlying element of the skin not just the skin itself. Great question though. Dr C
