I barely have had any acne but a couple of months ago it started on my hairline, accompanying the hair loss that I have had for 2yrs. I have an intolerance to bread, when I eat it my facial glands puff up, also I lost weight, I have always been very thin but I gained purposely. I lost it because allergies had worsened. I am 5'7 and weigh about 105/8. I try to eat almost no carbs and eat as healthy as possible. When I eat processed/high in fat I tend to bloat/nausea. I REALLY appreciate help.
Answer: Hair loss -- PRP, Progesterone, Viviscal, Rogaine, Spironolactone I suggest a formal evaluation by a skin doctor and possibly an endocrinologist. This will determine if there are external or internal causes for your concerns. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: I am a 19 year old female. I have a receding hairline. It's an issue. Is there any way to keep it from worsening? I appreciate your question. I would recommend seeing your primary care doctor for work up and evaluation. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck! Dr. Schwartz

Answer: If you want treatment options for your hair loss, you need to see a doctor for a diagnosis. A doctor needs to examine you first. A doctor may ask you questions pertinent to your hair loss taking a medical history. A doctor may even order blood tests or make measurement such as a bulk test or miniaturization test looking at your hair under a microscope. Afterwards, the doctor may give you a diagnosis and explanation of your hair loss condition offering possible treatment plans.

Answer: Receding Hairline Source And Solution The best way to keep your hair loss from worsening is to identify the true underlying cause and determine any and all conditions and allergies. General illness and poor nutrition caused by sudden changes in diet, crash dieting, bulimia, protein/calorie deficiency, essential fatty acid or zinc deficiency, malabsorption, hypervitaminosis A, all can cause thinning. Your hairline is likely to recede further if not addressed, once the cause is treated you may be able to regrow the miniaturized (thinning) hair using oral and topical therapies obtained through complimentary virtual or in-office consultation with a Ziering specialist. These therapies can slow down or stop the progression of loss and in some instances reverse the thinning hair.
