Will Hyaluronidase melt my own tissue/ collagen?

Hi Victoria.  Hyaluronidase is only designed to dissolve Hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Voluma.  If you are on your 7th treatment, it's likely that none f the product is left.  If you have pictures from before treatment, we would recommend checking them vs. your current situation.  To see an example of Juvederm reversal for under eye injections, click on the link below.

No, hyaluronidase won't damage your tissue. It will take a series of hyaluronidase treatments to dissolve filler. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hyaluronidase will dissolve the Vollure and not your own tissue.  It will not cause wrinkles, but the wrinkles that were treated may come back when the product is gone.  Make sure that you are working with a doctor that has used both products in the past and that has a lot of experience with fillers and with hyaluronidase.  Your doctor is most likely being cautious and attempting to preserve some of the filler that was injected.  All the best, Alexis Parker MD
