Why did I grow a lot of hair on my stomach where I had liposuction done?

After I had liposuction on my abdomen and back, I become very hairy. I've never been a hairy person and all of a sudden I have a stomach full of dark hair. It's absolutely everywhere on my stomach. Is this normal? If I shave it, will it come back or was it just a one-time thing?

Dear PersiansweetieIn my experience, liposuction does not have any known impact on hair growth. If you had an increase in growth, it was likely incidental.

is no reason why Liposuction should trigger hair growth, I suspect that this is
simply coincidence. Have you changed medication recently or even your diet?
This can impact on hair growth. As with all side effects, do speak to the
surgeon who carried out your procedure who can review the area in question.
