Sometimes after a BBL the fat joins together and creates a fluid pocket of fat and oil that your body puts a scar capsule around. This looks like a lump under the skin. Since your surgery was several years ago, it is likely that you may need additional surgery to address the scar capsule that was actually formed. Occasionally, a simple drainage of the fluid will be enough but usually after such a long time, the capsule is thick and fluid will build up in it once again. In these cases, the capsule will need to be removed or stuck down so there is no empty space or pocket for fluid to collect. Hope this helps!

Oil cysts can be removed with aspiration using a large needle or cannula.

I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon who did the procedure.

Thank you for the question and it maybe able to be aspirated but an examination is really needed. So see your surgeon and/or other expert in the area and compare recommendations after a full examination
