Fastest way to get rid bumps on face after Profound?

They are still there two weeks after procedure. There must be something that will help...massage face...put hot compresses...some prescriptive cream? Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Christine,The small bumps on your face after Profound treatment are called dermal papules.  In my experience they have always resolved, but the time frame may vary.  If they persist for longer than a week or two, I recommend a mild steroid cream topically.  You can get these over the counter at a local pharmacy.  Speak with your treating physician should they continue to persist.  Good luck and be well, enjoy your facial rejuvenation from your Profound RF treatment.Dr. P

Most people get small papules after Profound RF.  They always resolve, usually in a few days.  When they persist longer than that I have found that Benadryl cream or a mild steroid cream will help them resolve more quickly.

Small bumps on the face are normal after this treatment. Majority of them go away after 2 weeks. If they persist, I use a low dose triamcinolone cream for 1 week. You must see your doctor to make sure there is nothing else going on.
