Strange side effect from Profound RF.

Question

Procedure was 16 days ago. The only bruising left is under my eyes. By day 2, I developed an indescribable smell inside my nose. Most everything I eat takes on the bad aroma. On day 5, I worried there was an infection & started amoxicillin. My only other symptom is tenderness around neck & lower cheeks. Antibiotics haven't helped yet & now it seems the smell is also in my urine. Supplements: Arnica, Bromelein, multi-vitamin, extra c, e and added k on day 6. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Kee,
I am sorry that you are having your most unusual symptoms after your Profound treatment. I have never heard of such a thing!!!  It is likely due to something other than your treatment and the timing may be coincidental.  I would advise consulting with a ENT physician who will listen to your history, exam you, and hopefully find an answer and curative plan for your dysnosmia (stinky odor).  Now if you had said that you had eaten asparagus after your Profound treatment then I would be able to make the connection between the smell in your nose then showing up in your urine.  Good luck and be well.
